Lumos Language Studio handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

When you book, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, timezone, language level and anything you tell us about your goals. Your teacher may keep notes about your progress.

How we use it

We use your details to arrange and run your lessons, send confirmations and reminders, and keep records of payments. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Your teacher sees your booking details. We use trusted services to run the studio: Stripe for card payments (we never see or store your card number), Google for calendar invitations and video links, Supabase for secure data storage and an email provider for messages.

Access and correction

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@lumoslanguage.com.au.
